The winners of HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards have been announced at an exclusive awards night in London.
This Monday, July 25, the names of the 18 finalists of the 13th edition of the Fígaro Awards were revealed on the Fígaro TV Channel and in collaboration with MDB Education. For the fifth consecutive year, the announcement of the finalists took place via streaming with MDB Education and was led by Victor Alonso, a member of the entity's Board of Directors.
The finalists for HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards 2022 sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional have been announced.
Now in their 38th year, the awards are an annual celebration of hairdressing excellence, recognising the remarkable achievements of stylists from across the United Kingdom. Regional categories honour the finest hairdressing talent from across Britain with a separate category for International Collection of the Year, while seven specialist categories reward specific areas of hair expertise including Afro, Men’s, Avant Garde and Colour. New for 2022 is the Session Hairdresser of the Year award which is by nomination only and see the very best stylists from the world of session put forward their favourite images of the last 12 months. The most anticipated award of the evening – British Hairdresser of the Year* – is by nomination only and is widely regarded as the industry’s greatest accolade.
The most important event of the Spanish Hairdressing industry is experiencing its sweet moment in its 13th year, after overcoming the two past editions during the pandemic – thanks to the 136 collections submitted this year, coming from the always faithful involvement of great hair professionals in the sector, both national and international.
